VARESE, 8 agosto 2024-Joni Mitchell has announced her latest archival box set. The new, 98-track release, Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980), is out October 4 via Rhino. The collection features demos, alternate versions, and live recordings from the era that saw Mitchell release Hejira, Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter, Mingus, and Shadows and Light. Joni Mitchell Archives, Vol. 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980) will be released digitally, as a six-CD collection, and as a four-LP collection. The physical editions come with a book of never-before-seen photos, liner notes, and a conversation between Mitchell and director Cameron Crowe.
